I searched and searched for a moving company after having a bad experience a long time ago with another moving company- I took a chance with Blue Moving and booked them (through an app/wesbite called Moved) for a cross country full service move from NY to San Francisco which included Blue providing all the boxes/materials, packing all of my belongings, and delivering them to my new home in SF. Moved (the app/website) provided excellent customer service and consistent communication, while Blue executed the packing and transporting of the belongings.

I foolishly started looking for movers only one week before my big move. Just to move a studio from queens to Hell’s Kitchen was coming out to be over $600 and they were all hourly. Then I came across Blue Moving and the words “flat rate” caught my eye. I was a little skeptical because of low number of reviews on yelp and their affordability, so I called the manager to get a feel for their company. He made me feel so assured, he stood by the rate they quoted me, and really worked with me to make sure my move gets taken care of when I need it.

Moving during Mercury retrograde is bound to have some mishaps, but I had a great experience with Blue Moving. Mike and the rest of the guys were prompt, careful, and wrapped everything very well. Upon arriving to the new apartment, they were unable to get my large sofa up the stairs. They were very patient with me as I had a minor panic attack about abandoning it, and referred me to a company who was able to get it up the stairs (crisis averted!) This company also has amazing customer service. Mitko was great to work with! I would recommend them; just don’t forget to measure your large furniture!

Hired Blue Moving to move my daughter from East Village to LES. They did a fantastic job. Superb customer service from the office throughout – we arranged it all via email. Movers were on time, pleasant, helpful – even a bit early! Very efficient – move was quick and smooth. Management was responsive to last minute changes and requests – and was hands on when the movers needed guidance. When a last minute change wasn’t received before the team has left the apartment, Blue offered them to show up the following morning – beautiful. I loved our experience with Blue Moving and highly recommend them. Will use them again for sure.

Absolutely awesome! From the initial phone call till the end of the move, everyone we interacted with was kind, respectful, and efficient, and at a really reasonable price. Mitko was really great about answering all questions before the move, and even when it looked like a large snowstorm was going to potentially cause some trouble, he assured us that they always “make it happen” and truly came through. Appreciate the whole team’s help, and would definitely recommend!

I’m so sorry that I do not remember my crews name except for Jose, but I thank each and everyone of the 6 guys..They packed my parents 3 bedroom house and moved them the following day without a hitch.. They would not let us grab anynthing to help. Mitko the owner was great helped us out by accommodating us at the last minute due to a house closing taking longer then expected so we kept changing dates on him…Thank You All!
